Tourism New Zealand, with the support of Qualmark New Zealand tourism businesses, extends an invitation to you, our valued international travel trade, to experience Aotearoa New Zealand on the ultimate self-famil.
Explore is a travel industry discount programme that allows you and your travel companion to curate your own Aotearoa New Zealand itinerary through discounts generously provided by Qualmark tourism businesses.
You choose when to travel (close out periods apply between December and February), what regions and operators to visit and then experience Aotearoa New Zealand at your own pace.
In this programme, we’ll be asking for your feedback on what you like and don’t like about it.
You must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the discount programme:
Discounts offered by Qualmark tourism businesses are typically free of charge, or between 30% - 50% off. Discounts are usually extended to your travel companion.

Tourism New Zealand will review your application within ten (10) working days. If approved, you will receive a link to view the Explore Programme discounts and instructions on how to book. Please note, Explore applications must not be within 30 days of travelling to New Zealand.
Close-out periods apply for travel between December and February. Travel sellers are encouraged to travel between March and November.
