Tourism New Zealand, with the support of Qualmark Gold New Zealand tourism businesses, extends an invitation to you, our valued international travel trade, to experience Aotearoa New Zealand on the ultimate self-famil.
Explore is a travel industry discount pilot programme that allows you and your travel companion to curate your own Aotearoa New Zealand itinerary through discounts generously provided by Qualmark Gold tourism businesses.
You choose when to travel (close out periods apply between December and February), what regions and operators to visit and then experience Aotearoa New Zealand at your own pace.
During the pilot, we’ll be asking for your feedback on what you like and don’t like about the programme.
You must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the discount programme:
Additionally, you must not be travelling during the programme close out period (December to February), or be travelling to New Zealand within 30 days of application. You will be asked to specify your travel dates on your application form.
Discounts offered by Qualmark Gold tourism businesses are typically free of charge, or between 30% - 50% off. Discounts are usually extended to your travel companion.

Tourism New Zealand will review your application within ten (10) working days. If approved, you will receive a link to view the Explore Programme discounts and instructions on how to book.
