Series 3 

Session 1: Hiking in New Zealand

We are stepping back into our Virtual Road Trip with a session on hiking in New Zealand. Hiking is the best way to see beautiful landscapes and explore vast wilderness areas.
Mr Leon Lee, a qualified guide from Hey Tours New Zealand, will join us live to share his tips on planning, preparation and packing for a hike in New Zealand, as well as what to look out for when visiting a National Park or wilderness area.

Session 2: Beach to Bush Escapades in Nelson Tasman

This time, we're exploring the beautiful Nelson Tasman area! 
Donna Adlam from Nelson Tasman will take you to explore the Nelson Tasman area, the very centre of New Zealand, where the world's finest peanut butter is made.    Sandra Williamson will give you a very civilised adventure in Abel Tasman National Park. Then soar over the native bush on the Skywire with  Nick Crocker at the Cable Bay Adventure Park.

Session 3 : Highlights of Dunedin, Edinburgh of the South

Session 4 : Oamaru & Waitaki-a hidden gem in New Zealand

Margaret Munro and Ace Liu from Tourism Waitaki will take us to visit the Waitaki District, where is on the South Island of New Zealand. The region stretches from the Southern Alps to the Pacific Ocean, from Lake Ōhau to Ōamaru. Featuring the Waitaki Whitestone aspiring Global Geopark, the region holds significant geological landmarks such as Clay Cliffs, Elephant Rocks, Anatini, and Moeraki Boulders. The rich heritage is showcased in the beautifully restored limestone architecture of Ōamaru. Aspects of early Maori culture and European settlers are dotted throughout the Geopark together with the delightful wildlife of Little Blue Penguins and Fur seals. Session 5 :  Discover Wairarapa Highlights

We are heading to Wairarapa - just an hour from Wellington and 3 hours from Hawke's Bay, in the heart of New Zealand's classic wine trail. If Wairarapa is new to you, this will be a great introduction: Wairarapa is where country warmth meets world-class food and wine in the wine village of Martinborough and Greytown, but it's also a bit wild, with its rugged coastline and lighthouses, parks and dark starry skies. Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre will join us so we can learn about this wonderful wildlife park, home to of New Zealand's most endangered wildlife.

Session 6: Discover the Kāpiti Coast in Wellington

Session 7 : Explore Bay of Plenty – loved by kiwi’s

The Bay of Plenty is a coastal paradise for generations of kiwis, this is where they have spent their weekends and holidays. Known for the three top beaches in New Zealand with its warm waters and white sand that stretches along the coastline for 125km.
This is home to kiwifruit and avocado orchards, the freshest of berries, truffle farms, fresh seafood; all served straight to your plate throughout the region at some of the best restaurants and cafes you will find in NZ. 
Paired with our deep cultural foundation of manaaki tangata, Denise will introduce you to this place she calls home where you will learn what your customers can see and do when visiting.

Session 8: Uniquely Kaikōura

We are heading to Kaikōura, a coastal town located on the east coast of the South Island. Few places in the world can boast of such natural wonders as those offered by land and sea in Kaikōura. Gemma Heaney from Visit Fiordland will take you on an epic journey from Te Anau, along the Milford Road to visit the “8th wonder of the world” Piopiotahi Milford Sound, finishing with some rural luxury in Manapouri. Then we will go live to meet our lovely local operators in Te Anau the base camp for all Fiordland experiences,  a beautiful, peaceful town which is a hidden gem and worthy of a night or two on your clients itinerary.

Session 10 :  Magnificent Southland

Jenna also showed us just why they are one of Auckland's most spectacular native forest adventures.

Session 10: Experience Taupo from the water
