Getting to and from the airport
Both the international and domestic terminals are a 30 to 60 minute drive from the city centre depending on the time of day. 

There are various transport options available to the city centre including taxis (approx $60-70), airport shuttle (first person $35, $8 per person thereafter) and Air Bus ($16).

By Sea

Visit one of the many surrounding islands with Fullers, SeaLink or 360 Discovery.

By Rail

If your clients want to go a bit further outside of Auckland, they can jump on the Northern Explorer train.

Getting Around Auckland

Getting around Auckland central is easy by foot. However, the bus and train provide an option to get to areas outside of the city centre, especially from the Britomart Transport Centre.

The Link and Auckland’s Explorer Bus will let your clients explore the city and its various sites and attractions.

Hire cars are available through reliable companies such as Avis, Budget, Hertz and Thrifty, or if you want to feel the breeze, motorcycles are also available to hire.
