Hamilton & Waikato have been very busy working with local operators to create a number of exciting new products.
New product offerings include:

Bridal Veil Falls Cultural Walking Tour

Learn the history behind the beautiful Wairēinga/Bridal Veil Falls. Hosted by local guide Tahi Rangiawha, the tours will take you around the stunning waterfall and tell you the story of his ancestors. (website under construction)

Podium Lodge, Cambridge

An accommodation option with a difference. Podium Lodge opens in January 2018 and 100 percent of proceeds from the running of the lodge will be invested back into the community through its Good Sports programme. Located near the Avantidrome, the lodge will have accommodation options for groups, corporates and families.

The Monastery, Tamahere

The Monastery is a beautiful villa set within picturesque gardens, on the outskirts of Hamilton in beautiful Tamahere. The B&B has five well-appointed rooms all decorated with a nod to the classic era of the villa.

Te Awa River Ride extension

The extension to the Te Awa River Ride runs from Horotiu to Ngaruawahia and is 9km in length. The extension comes complete with the vibrant green Perry Bridge, the longest cycle bridge in the country. When complete, the trail ride will stretch for more than 70kms from Ngaruawahia in the north to Horahora in the South.

Hidden Secrets Tours from Platinum Transfers and Tours

Visit the renowned Hamilton Gardens, themed gardens from around the world, and other hidden gems from the area. The tour continues with sculptures, statues, and visits to the Waikato Museum and ArtsPost. All tours can be fully customised to visitor’s wishes.

Waitomo Hilltop Glamping

Escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life without compromise on comfort or luxury. Set within the hills of the lush Waikato countryside, Waitomo Glamping offers a myriad of activities nearby, plus creative food options and even the chance to light and warm your own outdoor bath. Ideal for 2-4 guests.

Adventure Te Aroha

Visitors can enjoy a guided drive tour of Te Aroha and Waiorongomai, before getting the chance to jump into a kayak and self-guide down the Waihou River through farmland to the boat ramp in Te Aroha, where you will be met by your local guide.

Henley Hotel, Cambridge

Opening in December, the Henley Hotel offers sumptuous rooms, great dining options and a venue fit for weddings and functions. Set within a picturesque landscape, the hotel is another exciting new addition to the accommodation options in the Waikato.

Lakeview Lodge, Karapiro

Great for groups or families, the Lakeview Lodge recently opened in Karapiro, just a few minutes south of Cambridge and an easy drive to Matamata. Set within cherry blossom trees and rolling hills, and with Lake Karapiro almost on the doorstep. The lodge can cater for up to 24 guests. 

Hamilton Airport Venues

The Hamilton Airport has five rooms of various sizes available for meetings, conferences and events on site. Conveniently located within the terminal at the airport, delegates arriving for day meetings can arrive without the hassle of onwards travel. Catering from 8 to 200 pax.
