Skyline Rotorua Mountain Bike Gravity Park

The new Skyline Rotorua Mountain Bike Gravity Park opens to the public on Saturday, 9 August.

Skyline Rotorua Mountain Bike Gravity Park.
The park, at Mt Ngongotaha, features 8.5km of trails for most skill levels. The trails will eventually include multi-grade features, a 300m jumps section, and international-grade slope style and downhill lines.
Skyline Rotorua owns and operates the Gravity Park and the government’s Tourism Growth Partnership invested $225,000, which funded a portion of the development. The Skyline gondola allows for 3,000 runs a day, with 11 (out of 33) refurbished gondolas each taking four riders and their bikes to the top of Mt Ngongotaha where the trails start. The park has full-time mountain bike patrollers, all trained to pre-hospital first aid levels.
