Your clients can get around the North Island by coach with InterCity Coachlines or a number of other suppliers.
Driving Routes
The Pacific Coast Highway will lead clients from Auckland through to Eastland and onto Hawke’s Bay, although an overnight stop may be needed. If you want a shorter route to the Hawke’s Bay take the Waioeka Gorge from Tauranga to Gisborne.
Although clients can drive from Rotorua to Eastland through the Urewera National Park, the road is partly unsealed so they will need to be careful. Remind clients to check with their car rental company that driving on unsealed roads is permitted with their rental cars.

Gisborne airport is the only airport within Eastland and offers domestic flights only.
