Driving Routes
The Pacific Coast Highway will lead clients from Auckland down the east coast and onto the Hawke’s Bay, although an overnight stop may be needed.
The Classic New Zealand Wine Trail lets clients drive through the Hawke's Bay wine region at their leisure, and also links up with other wine areas in Wairarapa and Marlborough.
The Thermal Explorer Highway is another option for clients to get from Auckland to the Hawke's Bay. It also takes clients through Taupo, past the Huka Falls, Mount Ruapehu and Rotorua.

Getting to and from the airport
Hawke's Bay airport is approximately 10 minutes drive from Napier city centre and 20 minutes from Hastings city centre.

By Sea
In the summer, Napier Port welcomes a number of cruise ships. A shuttle also runs from the port to the city centre allowing visitors to explore the city.
