Day 1: Queenstown

Kick start your first day in the renowned adventure capital, Queenstown, with a zipline amongst the treetops, or embrace a unique experience and suit up to have a go at indoor skydiving. 

Close out your first action-packed day with a jet boat down the beautiful Shotover River & Lake Wakatipu (also referred to as Lake Whakatipu). 

Day 2: Queenstown

For a day of luxury, try something new and create your own special souvenir by participating in a perfume-making class.  

Once you smell amazing, keep the good vibes going and head out to the town fringes on a group wine tour. 

For golfers, take a helicopter up to the amazing Remarkables mountain range and be the first to hit a hole in one on the mountain-top course (no prior golf experience required). 

Day 3: Te Anau

Wind up your time in Queenstown and drive approximately two hours to Te Anau, with plenty of picturesque stops and car parking bays along the way. 

If you skipped the heli-golf and are still seeking a helicopter experience, enjoy a 30-minute flight over the stunning Southern Lakes. 

Gazing over the wonderous mountains, you may spot your next move as once landed, you can embark on a hike through the trees discovering native flora and unforgettable views.

Day 4: Te Anau, Fiordland

Hop in a car or coach and take on the stunning road to Milford sound (approximately two hours) or Manapouri (a shorter drive of approximately 20 minutes). 

Settle into complete remoteness and enjoy a sustainable stay at a local retreat or continue your journey through Fiordland and set off on a day or overnight cruise in the spectacular Milford or Doubtful Sounds.

Day 5: Fiordland, Invercargill

Wrap up your stay in the fiords and head on the road again for approximately two hours to Invercargill, New Zealand’s most southern city. 

Explore the streets of Invercargill and if you’re feeling up to it, drive a short 20 minutes to Bluff and reach the southernmost point of the South Island for a restful sunset. 

Day 6: Invercargill

For the final day in the itinerary, transport backwards (or forwards) in time and visit one of the local automotive specialty museums, highlighting vehicles throughout the decades or grand motorcycles for bike-lovers.
