QT Museum Wellington undergoes refurbishment
Level four (hotel side) will be undergoing a refurbishment from now until July 2018. Meeting rooms will be updated and more harbour rooms are being built. There will be scaffolding around the hotel but no views will be impeded. Hippopotamus (their restaurant) will be closed Monday 8 January to Thursday 8 February 2018. Breakfast will be served from the Tamburini Room on the ground level of the hotel during this period.
Marlborough Flyer – new product
The Marlborough Flyer is a heritage steam train that journeys between Picton and Blenheim. Use the train as a form of transport between the two locations or book one of their tours, themed around wine, chocolate and planes.
Escape to Marlborough – Hop on Hop off
Escape to Marlborough has launched a daily Hop on Hop off tour. “Hop on” and explore Marlborough’s sights, “hop off” at any stop, then hop back on to go to the next destination.
