Europcar - MINI Hatch Cooper added to fleet
To fulfil customer demand for a premium, fun, safe and sporty car offering, Europcar have added the MINI Hatch Cooper to its diverse fleet. The MINI Hatch Cooper is a zippy, three-door manual hatch that seats four people, with features including air-conditioning, multiple airbags, MP3/CD Player, bluetooth, rear parking sensors and remote central locking.
Haka Tours
Go to Haka Tours’ website to watch the video for their latest ‘size matters’ campaign. Haka Tours provides small group adventure tours throughout New Zealand.

Green Journeys makes it easier to work with smaller operators and create better itineraries. Kiwi Experience – new stops
Hop-on hop-off backpacker bus company Kiwi Experience is bringing back the Lake Mahinapua stop on the South Island’s West Coast, plus launching a Kiwi Encounter stop and a farmstay stop on the North Island. 
The Kiwi Encounter, in Rotorua, is New Zealand’s largest and most successful kiwi conservation centre, having hatched and nurtured over 1350 eggs. Visitors will be able to take behind-the-scene tours of a working kiwi nursery and hatchery and 100% of the entrance fee will go to the conservation of kiwis. 
The Rangitikei farmstay stop is located in the rural town of Marton. This stop will offer experiences such as sheep shearing, learning about a working Kiwi farm and seeing the working dogs in action. It includes accommodation in the original farm homestead, a day of farming activities, and meals.
Luxury Lodges of New Zealand - update
Luxury Lodges of New Zealand welcomes three new members: The Lodge at the Hills, Poronui Lodge, and Solitaire Lodge.
Queenstown’s The Lodge at the Hills is located on the world class Hills golf course. It is available on an exclusive use basis with capacity with up to 12 guests and includes a private chef, host and concierge services.
Poronui Lodge is one of New Zealand’s iconic high country properties, situated between Taupo and Hawke’s Bay. Hunting, fly fishing and horse riding are some of the activities on offer.
Solitaire Lodge, overlooking Lake Tarawera, near Rotorua, offers 10 luxurious suites and panoramic views. Guests can enjoy kayaking on the lake, world class trout fishing, or relaxing in a hot pool.


Auckland Museum - Tamaki Paenga Hira – World of WearableArtTM exhibition
Auckland Museum is hosting the brand new World of WearableArt™ exhibition prior to it embarking on a worldwide tour. This new exhibition gives visitors the chance to experience the magic up close. 
Combining award-winning garments, exciting audio-visual presentations and a creative ‘workroom’, visitors are able to delve more deeply into the story behind WOW®. Visitors can learn about the designers who spend hundreds of hours creating the wearable works of art and the production team behind the shows. The exhibition ends on Sunday 22 March 2015.


Inflite Charters Limited – new base
Inflite Charters have opened a new base at Taupo (TUO) Airport. Scenic helicopter flights, lodge transfers, golfing, fishing and vineyard trips are available in their AS355 Twin Squirrel and Robinson R44 helicopters.

Weta Workshop – New tour: There & Back Again
The new ‘There & Back Again’ tour offers a round-trip journey to The Weta Cave from the Wellington i-SITE, making it the perfect option for visitors without transport. Dedicated 'There and Back Again' shuttles will take your clients from the centre of Wellington out to Miramar to experience everything the Weta Cave has to offer - including tickets to the Weta Workshop Tour space and guaranteed seats to the Weta Cave’s exclusive behind-the-scenes documentary. Wellington Guided Tours (formerly South Coast Shuttles) - update
South Coast Shuttles has now changed its name to Wellington Guided Tours. The same full day, half day, and personalised tours are offered but the company will now be operating under the new name.

Zealandia’s Rata café has redesigned their menu for summer and is now serving Halal certified products.


Bluebridge – changes to online agent booking portal
Bluebridge has made changes to their online agent booking portal so making reservations for your clients is now even easier. Agents now have the ability to download ‘new look’ E-Tickets, edit bookings online, and hold availability for their clients for up to 24 hours. Login to the agent portal for more information.


Raetihi Lodge – refurbishment
Raetihi Lodge has recently undergone refurbishment. The luxury retreat accommodation has 14 rooms and can accommodate up to 31 guests. There are a number of water and land based activities available from the lodge. Guests can also take advantage of the fine food and wine on offer. The lodge has its own water taxi, offering fast and efficient transfers across Kenepuru Sounds.



Christchurch Tram – Welcome Aboard
Christchurch Trams are back running on their original loop through the city. Post-earthquakes, the trams began operations on a shortened route last November and have carried over 100,000 passengers.
The trams now travel along their original pre-earthquake loop beginning at New Regent Street, passing through Cathedral Junction, Cathedral Square, Canterbury Museum, Hagley Park, Cranmer Square and Victoria Square. The reinstated loop takes approximately 25 minutes and stops at 10 locations along the way. Welcome Aboard plans to have its restaurant tram back by the end of the year.


Skyline Queenstown – Stratosfare restaurant launches
Chef and guest interaction is a huge focus at Stratosfare which includes a mussel bar, where New Zealand green-lipped mussels are served hot to diners, and a purpose-built rotisserie oven where guests can see locally-sourced chicken, beef and lamb cooked.
Stratosfare officially launched this month, simultaneously with Skyline Rotorua, which has also completely redeveloped its dining experience.

The Stratosfare renovation follows other significant enhancements to Skyline Queenstown’s food and recreation offerings over the past 18 months. Skyline Queenstown has also added Stargazing, a Jelly Belly retail store and provides mountain bikers with gondola access to the world-class Queenstown Bike Park.
Off Road Adventures – new Wakatipu Wine Adventure
This half day tour provides breath-taking scenery and off-road fun through Skippers Canyon, Arrowtown and up the Arrow River. Your clients will be taken to two of the regions finest wineries to cap off their tour with some delicious wine tasting. Off Road Adventures is also celebrating their 25th anniversary this month.
Walter Peak – renovations complete
Diners taking the TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak to enjoy their gourmet bbq will be able to enjoy the outdoors in all-weather following the completion of a new, innovative outdoor kitchen and pergola; the final stage of Real Journeys' extensive Walter Peak upgrade. Rain sensors close a custom designed automated roof system when it rains and PVC walls can be raised or lowered depending on the weather. There is a large open fireplace at one end and an outdoor wood-fired barbeque area, where most of the cooking will be done.
Over the Top – new product
Over the Top, the helicopter company, in association with Golf Warehouse presents New Zealand’s most picturesque golf hole. Nestled at 4,500 feet in the Southern Alps this unique par 3 golf experience overlooking Queenstown has four tee boxes for the altitude golfer to attempt their hole in one. With Over the Top helicopter access only, players fly in, drive, chip, and putt out on the top.


Welcome Rock Trails – opens 8th December 2014
Welcome Rock Trails is a 27km single track cross country mountain bike/hiking trail, hand built on one of New Zealand’s longest historic water races. A medium level of fitness and experience is required. Enhance the experience by staying the night in a back country hut.
