How to get there:

By air: Tairāwhiti Gisborne is located on the East Coast of the North Island. Air New Zealand offer up to five flights a day from Auckland (1 hour) or Wellington (1 hour) into Gisborne Airport, from there it’s a five-minute drive from the CBD.
 
By road: Tairāwhiti Gisborne is located on State Highway 35 and is part of the Pacific Coast Highway touring route. It’s also signposted along the entire route, giving a safe and easy way to navigate through some of the most spectacular coastal scenery New Zealand has to offer.
