About Packrafting
Packrafting is changing the way people can explore the wild. It allows you to hike and explore deep into the wilderness and play in the water all in one go. A packraft is light enough to carry in your backpack on hikes into the back country, and easy enough to inflate and deflate in minutes. You can fly through rapids and bounce off rocks with this durable one-person inflatable boat.

At the water’s edge you’re able to set up the boat in less than 5 minutes, secure your backpack over the bow and ride rivers or cross lakes. Once on the other side you can then deflate the boat and carry on trekking.

With these lightweight boats we are able to access some of the most remote and undisturbed rivers in the Southern Hemisphere, these hidden gems would usually be unreachable with conventional boats and kayaks alone.

Trips for your clients
Whether your clients want to challenge their boundaries or are solely looking for a relaxing and unique way to see areas of New Zealand's great wilderness that lay off the beaten track, our packrafting trips can cater for them. Trips range from half day gentle floats down the river, and full day combinations of hiking and rafting, to overnight trips sleeping under the stars.

Hike, swim, play, raft or simply float and take in the breathtaking scenery, armed with a paddle, a packraft and walking boots - the opportunities are endless.
