Destination Marketing Manager Jo Lowrey says the new visitors guide replaces seven different brochures that currently market the district, pulling together essential information for any visitor.

“It showcases what Clutha has to offer from jet boating on the Clutha River, twilight tours watching the rare yellow-eyed penguin, walking to the Nugget Point Lighthouse, cycling on the Clutha Gold Trail or exploring the forests of the Blue Mountains and, of course, the Catlins.”

The visitors guide will be distributed to tourism operators around the world and will also be available at all i-SITE Visitor Centres throughout New Zealand.

The new website– www.destinationclutha.com – is also a one stop site for Clutha District visitors.

“It is a responsive, modern and feature-rich website that showcases the area to potential domestic and international tourist,” Ms Lowrey said.

The new website will be officially launched on 16 December.
