Driving Routes

Getting to and from the airport
Hamilton airport is approximately 15-20 minutes drive from Hamilton city centre.
Clients can get a taxi to the city centre for approximately $30 or a shuttle bus for approximately $27 for the first person and $7 for every person thereafter.
By Rail
The Northern Explorer rail service goes through Hamilton, offering great views through the area and North Island. It runs from Auckland through to Wellington.
Clients can also get to Waitomo Caves by getting a train to Otorohanga and then catching a taxi or shuttle to Waitomo.
Getting Around Hamilton and Waikato
Getting around the city and town centres is easy by foot, however hire cars and motorhomes are also available. Hamilton also has a local bus services stopping off at most of the local attractions. Clients can go to the Hamilton Transport Centre to see what is available.
