Who can become a 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist?

Are you based outside New Zealand?  Do you plan and sell New Zealand holidays?  This programme is definitely for you and your colleagues too.  Although only individuals can sign up, if you’re a business you can get several staff to join.  It’s a great way to boost knowledge and sales of New Zealand holidays. 

How to become a 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist

Become a specialist in three simple steps:

 

  1. Complete at least 10 of our online training modules
  2. Visit New Zealand for at least 3 nights in the last 5 years (10 years if you're from Europe).  Proof includes:
    • Your boarding pass
    • Passport stamp
    • PNR number
  3. Undertake some Tourism New Zealand training in your market. For example:
    • A Kiwi Link event
    • Frontline training
    • In-house training – such as Tourism New Zealand training in your office
    • Online training – such as a webinar

Once you’ve completed all three steps you will then be awarded status as a 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist. While you’re celebrating your certificate of achievement and starter pack will be on its way.  If it hasn’t arrived after 4 weeks get in touch with your local Tourism New Zealand office.

Getting Started

Stay a 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist

Your status expires after 2 years but you can renew it in two easy steps:

  1. Complete two modules - we’re always updating our modules. If you’ve done one before, retest your knowledge or try something new by choosing a Special Interest module
  2. Attend Tourism New Zealand Training in your market (as stated above).

To stay on our programme just repeat these steps every two years.
